Meet Mish, PortaCount fit tester of MaskTogetherColorado
Mish, who freely shares mask information on their Parenting Mishmash accounts on Facebook and X, is an engineer and fit tester who works with MaskTogetherColorado to run free fit testing events for the public. They are also a co-moderator of the worldwide Fit Testing for Everyone forum, which brings together aerosol engineers, hobbyists, and everyday clean air enthusiasts from around the world - to test out safety solutions, learn together, and come up with creative solutions to ensure the safety of as many people as possible. Mish has been working for years to assemble data on masks of all shapes and sizes for people of all shapes and sizes, and maintains a widely shared chart of small masks sorted by size, for children and people with smaller faces.
Mish is also the founder of Dental Masks LLC, a solo grant-funded project to build, rigorously test, and distribute their Dental PAPR’s to mask blocs around the world, so that anyone can borrow one from their community and stay safe at the dentist in a world where even medical providers are often not taking sufficient precautions.
