Victoria Coble lives in Greensboro, NC with her husband Shane, their two children, her MIL, and one golden retriever named Buffy. She is a recent graduate from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro’s Department of Informatics and Analytics, where she just completed her Master’s of Science, with a concentration in Cultural Analytics. She is the founder of Covid Action GSO, a patient advocacy organization, created in Dec 2023 in response to healthcare workers in her local hospital taking unmasked photos within the NICU unit, in direct violation of their own mask policy. Covid Action GSO works to help educate and empower patients to advocate for their right for masked appointments with all medical providers.
Victoria homeschools her two children, in order to keep them safe from the damaging effects of repeated COVID infections. Victoria and her family mask in n95s in all indoor settings and busy public outdoor settings to protect themselves and those in their community from airborne pathogens, allergies, and air pollution. Victoria’s goals with Covid Action GSO are to help get masked hours in private practice healthcare settings, as well as improving the indoor air quality in schools and businesses across her community. Victoria has also worked to organize against the NC mask ban bill, NC House Bill 237, and started the petition on change.org to help bring awareness to this dangerous legislation.
