Sidney Hollingsworth is a Data Analyst and experienced electoral campaign professional. With a Bachelor of Arts in Markets and Culture from Southern Methodist University, Sidney has built a career at the intersection of technology, politics, and advocacy.
Before fully transitioning to political work, Sidney refined their analytical skills in the private sector as a Data Analyst at Facebook and IBM.
Currently, Sidney works at The Movement Cooperative, supporting progressive organizations in their fight for a more equitable future. As a proud member of the Nonprofit Professional Employees Union (NPEU), they are committed to advancing workers' rights and strengthening the labor movement within the nonprofit sector.
Outside of their professional work, Sidney is an active community member in Austin, Texas, regularly attending City Council meetings and advocating for government transparency and disability rights. Through an intersectional approach to technology, labor, and advocacy, Sidney is dedicated to fostering safer, more just communities where all people can thrive.
