Paul Hennessy is a writer, filmmaker, and project manager. Since 2020, he has been an ally in the fight against COVID and Long Covid. He has used his platform to raise awareness about the dangers of SARS-CoV-2 and the need for prevention, education, and treatments. Paul has helped organize several direct actions including a postcard campaign to the CDC, which urged them to mandate respirators and clean air in healthcare. He also helped plan the first Long Covid Awareness Demonstration in DC in 2024 (LC/DC). While he continues to fight for investments into treatments and education, he also advocates for prevention necessities such as respirators and clean air tools in healthcare and forced-congregate settings. He has found avenues for change on the local, state, and federal level and promotes organizations and actions that are fighting for a healthier future.
