Meet Lindsay Schwarz Coordinator of MaskTogetherAmerica

Lindsay Schwarz is a public health advocate, mother of two, wife, and forever a daughter missing a father lost to Covid-19. Based in Atlanta, GA, Lindsay has a B.A. and an M.A. in American Government and Politics and is an adjunct instructor of Federal Government for a community college. During the tenure of Georgia Secretary of State Cathy Cox, she was a Voter Education Coordinator for 53 counties in East Georgia. She demonstrated the electronic voting machines, registered new voters, monitored elections, and taught civic engagement at schools of all types. While living in Okinawa, Japan, during her husband’s Air Force assignment, Lindsay taught English in local public schools and preschools in Okinawa City. She earned an M.A. in Elementary Education and became certified to teach K - 8th grade through the Department of Defense Dependents’ Schools. Upon moving back to the United States, Lindsay became a full-time mother, tutored students in reading and English, and taught political science. Lindsay’s focus has changed since the pandemic began, the unexpected loss of her father and contracting Covid-19 herself. She spreads awareness of Covid, Covid long-hauler’s disease, vaccination, masking, and overall public health needs in America. She is committed to helping others both prepare for and prevent catastrophic health events.
