Kathy comes to MaskTogetherAmerica after working as the Director of Press, Media Relations, Digital Media, and Publicity for SurvivorCorps, the largest grassroots movement in America dedicated to supporting and advocating for individuals with COVID-19 and Long Covid. Kathy started working with SurvivorCorps right when the pandemic hit and helped many of those struggling with Covid-19 and Long Covid. She worked with numerous medical personnel and researchers on finding cures for Covid-19 while also helping to raise awareness by working with the media to spread the truth and the facts about Covid-19 and Long Covid.
Kathy contracted Covid-19 in the summer of 2022 and understands how debilitating the disease is and wrote about its effects from the patient and the physical therapist side for the West Side Rag. Her wish is that there will be a cure for those still suffering and that masks continue to be worn by and around those that are immunocompromised.
Kathy moved to New York City to pursue her dream to become a journalist. She’s worked for Good Morning America, ABC Sports, ABC News, FOX Sports, and NBC Olympics as an online journalist, producer, editor, and roving reporter. She currently lives in New York City with her husband, three children, and her dog.
