Heather McTammany is a small business owner from Evergreen, Colorado, where she recycles vintage clothing on the internet at her shop Skippy Haha Vintage. She has a legal education background and was a lawyer briefly in the early 00's before the opportunity to sell t-shirts came up.
She joined Colorado COVID Watch in 2022 as Research Coordinator and helped produce a 7-part report which details her county's pandemic failures based on a FOIA request for the Board of Health President's emails, called "Unmasking Jefferson County Colorado". She calls and emails and makes pro-mask public comments to her local and state Boards of Health and Education, Representatives, Senators, and Governor on a regular basis to remind them COVID is not over. She's a big fan (pun intended) of Corsi Rosenthal boxes and has made three so far.
She's spent a lot of time online in the last 4 years learning about COVID and Long COVID and trying to advocate for precautions. She is a staunch supporter of single payer improved and expanded Medicare for All. She wears a mask everywhere indoors and in crowds outdoors because it's an easy way to reduce the amount of viruses in the air.
