Christina Auriana is an NYC-based actress, screenwriter and producer. She holds an MFA in Acting from The Actors Studio Drama School and a Bachelor of Arts with a concentration in Broadcast Journalism and a major in Communication and Media Studies from Fordham University—Lincoln Center. She was a candidate for lifetime membership at the Actors Studio. She is currently developing a television pilot, Zero Light, set in the high stakes world of Formula 1 racing with a distinctly female point of view, partly inspired by her childhood spent in the world of vintage car racing and collecting. She hopes to be onscreen, racing as the lead protagonist soon.
In addition to being passionate about all things film, television and theater as well as public health, Christina is an ardent supporter of all things literature, working with Reading Partners, a national nonprofit that mobilizes communities to provide students with the proven, individualized reading support they need to read at grade level by fourth grade. She serves as a volunteer tutor and is a member of the Tutor Advisory Council, providing real time feedback around weekly lesson effectiveness and mentors newly onboarded tutors. She continues to mask in all public indoor spaces because it’s an easy way to prevent infection from pathogens. She is always happy to discuss how necessary ventilation and filtration in all indoor public spaces are in order to create a new, equitable, accessible and safe normal for everyone.
